Yesterday I won the cybersmart competition which went around some schools in gisborne, We entered it a week before lockdown so I kind of forgot about it. I was given a $50 voucher for my prize which I am very happy about.

The past couple of weeks we have been working on our Māori games/animations in cybersmart.
I decided to do Māui slow's the sun because I thought it was a cool story and I could make a cool animation to go with it, The most challenging thing was how we had to make every thing by ourselves and we couldn't use images, It was a awesome challenge but next time I would like to use already made images.
My favourite thing was working out how I would place my story and how everything would come together.
This is my Matariki Gif, This week we have been doing alot about Matariki, Learning about the stars and what they represent. We also made a play about Tane Mahuta separating Rangi and Papa and how it created the stars just like I did in my gif.
We were learning to use polyline and the curve tools to make letters and to make a object
